Stories are being posted online to help keep children entertained and their imaginations active.
The partnership between Hull Libraries, Hull Schools’ Library Service and Groundwork is delivering children’s literature directly into people’s homes.
Hull Story Time will see familiar faces from the world of children’s literature, and perhaps beyond, reading aloud stories.
On Friday author Tom Knight read his book Good Knight, Bad Knight, then followed it up with a special craft session that was also posted online.

Councillor Marjorie Brabazon, chair of Hull Culture and Leisure, said: “Stories unlock imaginations and are a great way of keeping children entertained during this difficult time.
“Tremendous credit should go to everyone involved for creating and now implementing this fantastic idea that I’m sure will bring plenty of smiles to children and support to parents.”
The stories will be posted every week on Hull Libraries Twitter and Facebook accounts.
