Come for a walk around the Hull Nature Trail – a circular route around Oak Road Playing Fields
The second section of the Hull Nature Trail, a circular route around the much‑loved Oak Road Playing Fields, is now open.
The new trail can be accessed from either Beresford Avenue or Oak Road, just off Beverley Road. Visitors can enjoy accessible paths that guide them around the 75‑acre site, which also features a popular fishing lake, children’s play area and skate park.
Oak Road Playing Fields are home to a rich variety of wildlife, offering residents the opportunity to reconnect with nature and enjoy one of the city’s green spaces.
The trail officially opened on Wednesday 18 March, at a soft launch event led by the council’s Parks and Open Spaces team.
