A huge water-themed obstacle course is heading back to the city next year.
More than 900 racers took part in the Hulltimate Challenge last year, taking on a range of tasks including the Hullmageddon – a giant water slide placed outside of Hull Minister.

Organised by the Living with Water partnership, the race brings to life ways in which the community of Hull and the East Riding can live and thrive with water, rather than fear it.
Lee Pitcher, general manager of Living with Water, said: “The Hulltimate Challenge engaged over 1.5 million people last year and was both regionally and nationally groundbreaking in its creative approach to building community awareness around flooding.
“We are thrilled to have the event return to the city with even bigger and better obstacles for everyone. Repeating such a successful event means that not only is there an appetite for events like this, but we are better prepared for climate change too.”
The Living with Water team involves Hull City Council, Yorkshire Water, East Riding Council and the Environment Agency, and takes a fresh approach to addressing flood risk and resilience in Hull and the surrounding area.
Earlier this year, the Living with Water partnership won an Excellence in Collaboration Award at the British Quality Foundation Awards 2019, beating Dubai Police, Sun Chemical and Ricoh UK.
