New Council Homes

Through its adopted Housing Growth Plan, the Council has set itself an ambitious target to deliver 840 modern new Council homes over a 5 year period. Many of these homes will be delivered on sites such as Dane Park and Isledane but there are also a number of Council homes being delivered on other sites across the city. Below you will be able to track progress of the various new Council homes being delivered on these sites.

Wawne View

Update: 22 June 2026
The first 4 homes handed over with the next 2 scheduled for July 2026.

There are then 17 more new homes for HCC to be completed by the end of October 2026.

Update: 3 June 2026
Hull City Council have acquired 23 modern new homes from Keepmoat Homes at the Wawne View Development. These homes will be for affordable rent and to date 4 homes have completed, with 2 more handing over at the end of June, and the other 17 by the end of October 2026.

Kings Fold, Kingswood

Update: 15 June 2026
The handover of 12 new 2-bedroom homes at Beal’s Kings Fold development at Kingswood went ahead on the 15 June 2026.

These are all s106 plots and will be let as Affordable Rent.

Lindsey Place

Update: 18 May 2026
First handovers

On 18th May 2026 the Council took handover of the first 4 homes on the site.

This marks a significant milestone with the remaining 5 homes due to complete in the coming weeks.
