Block and Neighbourhood Champions are residents who voluntary work in partnership with the Council to help make their local area a cleaner, safer and more pleasant place to live by carrying out inspections and sharing feedback with us.
Working closely with the Tenant Participation Team, Champions help build strong links between residents and the Council and act as a voice for their community.
The role is flexible and designed to fit around you. Activities can be carried out weekly, monthly or at a time that suits you. You can choose to work independently or alongside a member of the team.
If you would like to carry out inspections within a Council high-rise or low-rise block but do not live in that building, inspections will need to be arranged with a member of the Tenant Participation Team.
