Hull City Council has announced that essential maintenance work on Ennerdale Bridge will commence from Monday 14 August.
The essential work will be carried out by the Hull City Council Bridges Team to the central reserve barriers on both approaches to the bridge on Raich Carter Way.
This work is in preparation for the main carriageway resurfacing, which is due to be carried out later this year.
The works, which will be operated under overnight offside lane closures, will commence on Monday 14 August at 7pm and are planned to be completed by Friday 18 August at 7am.
Road users can use the nearside lane only of Raich Carter Way throughout the works.
Councillor Mark Ieronimo, Portfolio Holder for Roads, and Transport, said: “These are essential maintenance works which will help us prepare for the resurfacing of the carriageway later this year.
“To carry the work out safely, there will be overnight lane closures in place that will result in some disruption.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all road users in advance for their patience and understanding during these works.”
