The Hull and East Riding Safeguarding Adults Boards have worked in partnership to develop a comprehensive programme of free online learning sessions to support this year’s Safeguarding Adults Week and the Ann Craft Trust.
Building on the success of Safeguarding Adults Week 2023, the safeguarding partners have expanded the range of topics covered this year. While many sessions are tailored for professionals in the safeguarding sector, several are also open to the public.
The programme covers crucial topics such as professional curiosity and advocacy, prevent awareness, modern slavery, and domestic abuse in older adults.
Designed to stimulate discussion, spark innovation, and share best practices, each session will be delivered by inspirational and motivational speakers who are experts in their fields.
Councillor Linda Chambers, portfolio holder for adult services and public health at Hull City Council said: “We are proud to support Safeguarding Adults Week and the Ann Craft Trust with such a diverse and engaging programme.
“These sessions are vital for raising awareness and equipping both professionals and the public with the knowledge and tools to protect vulnerable adults.”
The full programme of events is available for viewing and booking via Eventbrite, and early registration is recommended to avoid disappointment. To book a session, visit East Riding Safeguarding Adult’s Board Events – 15 Upcoming Activities and Tickets | Eventbrite
