Lord Mayor to host Music Bingo Charity Night

The Lord Mayor of Kingston upon Hull will raise more money for local good causes when he hosts a Music Bingo Charity Night next month.

The event will take place on Friday 12 April 2024, and will be held in the magnificent setting of the Banqueting Hall in The Guildhall.

The fun night will incorporate music bingo, along with a disco and live entertainment from local artist Ester.

Proceeds will go to the Lord Mayor’s nominated charities for 2023/24, which are Dove House Hospice and Hull4Heroes.

The Lord Mayor and Admiral of the Humber, Councillor Kalvin Neal, said: “I hope this event can be a real success in helping to raise funds for the nominated charities.

“Both companies and individuals in the community can show their generosity via a raffle which will be held on the night, including in donating prizes.

“I’d like to thank those who have supported our events throughout my time as Lord Mayor.”

Doors open on the night at 7pm, with the fun getting underway at 7:30pm.

Tickets are £20 per person, which includes a supper of pie, peas, mash and gravy (a vegetarian option is available – please request in advance), and 6 games of bingo.

Tickets can be purchased from the Civic Office on 01482 615 093, or email civic.office@hullcc.gov.uk.

Businesses or individuals wishing to donate prizes for the raffle can also contact the Civic Office in the same way, where arrangements can be made to collect any gifts that are kindly donated.
