Rainbow Valentine’s Ball to return

The Lord Mayor’s Rainbow Valentine’s Ball is to return for the first time since the Covid-19 outbreak.

It will be held at The Guildhall on Friday 16 February 2024.

The event raises funds for both Pride in Hull with the Pride Prom and the Lord Mayor’s Charity Appeal Fund, which is this year supporting Hull4Heroes and Dove House Hospice.

The Lord Mayor and Admiral of the Humber, Councillor Kalvin Neal, said: “The Rainbow Valentine’s Ball is a wonderful event, which supports charities and good causes.

“We welcome everyone to dress fabulously and formal, but more importantly as themselves.

“It’s the first time we’ve been able to put on the Ball for 4 years, so we’re looking forward to having a really good turn out.”

There will be plenty of entertainment on the night, including a drag performance from the legendary Bobby Mandrell, and a special musical theatre performance from Hull’s State of the Arts Academy.
