Cultural Tides will return in March 2027, for the first time spanning two days and featuring cultural activities, workshops and talks.
Taking place at Hull City Hall on Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 March, the annual conference will invite those in the culture industry from across the country to learn more about a whole host of subjects, hearing from a range of specialists.
Themes for the conference will cover the role of volunteering in the sector and culture as a place-maker. With full details soon to be announced, visitors are encouraged to add the dates to their diaries now.
Cllr Jackie Dad, deputy leader and portfolio holder for culture and leisure said: “2027 is a huge year for Hull as we celebrate 10 years since Hull UK City of Culture 2017, alongside a number of key birthdays and anniversaries across the city. We will also have more on our planned submission and ambition to UNESCO on becoming a UK City of Music.
“Cultural Tides 2027 will reflect that in its size and stature as we plan a fantastic experience for all attendees.
“Visitors will have the chance to listen to international speakers, participate in a wide range of workshops, network with professionals across the industry and learn more about what we have on offer here in our great city.
“I would encourage anyone working in or with an interest in cultural sector to get the dates in their diaries as tickets are now available to book.”
