Did you know we have a team dedicated to responding to reports of anti-social behaviour? They take every report seriously and their priority is to support victims of anti-social behaviour and take action to stop it happening.
To do this, they work with other organisations including Humberside Police. However, to be effective, they need evidence – and that includes dates, times, what’s happening and who’s responsible.
Here are some recent examples of action taken following detailed reports from residents.
- June – Newtown Court: Two-year suspended possession order made against a tenant found with cannabis plants.
- August – Grasby Road: Five-year suspended possession order made against a tenant due to suspected drug dealing and anti-social behaviour.
- August – Cropton Road: Tenancy demotion made against a tenant following a police investigation for burglary and assault.
Numerous other cases are currently being pursued though the courts. This can take time, but it’s an important part of the process of getting results.
