Events and venues in Hull and the East Riding are being affected after new information was shared in yesterday’s coronavirus update by the Government. Here are some of the events and venues seeing closures on Tuesday and Wednesday.

2.30pm: Hull’s Goodwin Development Trust has cancelled all group sessions and will be supporting people over the telephone. It includes the next Create to Change two-week induction.

12.46pm: Ferens Late, a special programme of events at Ferens Art Gallery, has been postponed, the gallery has announced on Twitter.
The health and safety of our staff and visitors is our number one priority.
We are closely monitoring the situation regarding Covid19 and continuing to follow Public Health advice.
As a precautionary measure we are cancelling our Ferens Late event on Thursday 19 March.

11.07am: The Hull Real Ale and Cider Festival at Hull Minster has now been postponed.
A statement on the festival’s website said: “It is with great sadness that CAMRA and the Hull & East Yorkshire Branch in particular have come to the difficult decision of postponing the 2020 Hull Real Ale & Cider Festival (HRACF) due to be held at Hull Minster in May 2020.”
