Essential resurfacing works will take place in Manor Road, west Hull, next week.
Road closures will be in place for two weeks as repairs are undertaken in two stages.
A road closure to through traffic between Willerby Road and Westlands Road will be in place from Monday 16 March to Wednesday 25 March.
A second road closure will be in place between Westlands Road and Wold Road on Monday 16 March, with a further closure expected for one day at a later date.
Councillor Anita Harrison, portfolio holder for highways at Hull City Council, said: “To allow the works to be carried out safely and swiftly, road closures will be in place.
“We apologise in advance for any disruption caused during the period of works and ask that motorists are patient while we carry out these essential repairs.”
Access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency vehicles.
