Hull City Council is pleased to announce that the 2026 Tenants’ Garden Competition is now live and open for entries.
Now in its eighth year, the annual competition celebrates the creativity, effort and pride that council tenants put into their gardens and shared green spaces across the city.
Competition categories
Tenants can enter one or multiple categories, giving them more opportunities to showcase their gardening achievements. The categories are:
- Best Individual Garden
- Best Communal Garden
- Best Eco Garden
- Best Container or Hanging Basket
- Best Disabled Garden
Awards will be presented in three areas of the city – North Hull, East Hull and West Hull – giving tenants across Hull the chance to take part.
