Customer Services expands in the Bransholme area

Local residents in the Bransholme area are to benefit from expanded options to talk face-to-face to Hull City Council’s Customer Services representatives.

Staff who are currently based at Bransholme Health Centre will go out further into the community to advise on available services and support.

From Monday 1 December, face-to-face walk-in help desk surgeries will be based at:

Bransholme Library, Goodhart Road:

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 9:30am-12:30pm/1:30pm-5:00pm

The Pennine, Pennine Way:

Tuesday: 9:30am-12:30pm

Bodmin Road Church, Padstow Close:

Wednesday: 9:15am-3:00pm.

Alf Marshall Community Centre, Goodhart Road:

Friday, 9:00am–1:00pm.

Portfolio holder for communities, Councillor Ted Dolman, said: “This move provides residents in the Bransholme area with greater access to our services, where our staff will be visible in places in the community where people already go for help and support.

“Where we’ve made similar changes in other areas of the city, residents have told us that they find places like community centres and libraries to be environments where they feel comfortable to come forward to speak to us.

“Our friendly and experienced Customer Services staff can provide advice about all kinds of things, including what help is available to deal with the cost of living.

“They’ll now be offering that support in places which have plenty of other activities going on, which residents can also get involved in.”
