The Lord Mayor’s Rainbow Valentine’s Ball is to be staged again in 2025.

The formal and fabulous event will take place at the Guildhall on Friday 14 February, starting at 7:30pm.

Doors will open at 7pm, with carriages at midnight.

Daz’s Rock 4 Charity and Queen Margarita will be among those performing, whilst Andy Train will once again host.

The Ball returned in 2024 for the first time after the Covid-19 outbreak and proved to be a popular occasion.

Proceeds from the night will be shared between the Lord Mayor’s Charity Appeal Fund – which is this year benefitting Hull and East Yorkshire Children’s University and Cruse Bereavement Support – and Pride in Hull with the Hull Prom.

The Lord Mayor, Councillor Mark Collinson, said: “This will be my first attendance at the Ball, but I’m told it’s a lot of fun.

“It’s another great opportunity to raise funds for my chosen charities, and I’m pleased that Hull Pride also benefits from the event.”

Tickets are £25 each and are available from the Civic Office on 01482 615 093.
