Elbow

One of Britain’s biggest bands arrive in Hull for bank holiday weekend. Elbow’s extensive catalogue, spanning ten albums, includes hits such as One Day Like This and The Seldom Seen Kid.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride

Hull, Sunday 19 May

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride unites classic and vintage styled motorcycle riders from all over the world to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.

2:22 – A Ghost Story

Hull New Theatre, Sunday 5 May, 7.30pm

The new stage phenomenon that has taken the West End by storm, 2:22 – A Ghost Story, arrives in Hull this May.

Winner of Best New Play at the Whatsonstage Awards, this edge-of-your-seat, supernatural thriller stars Jay McGuiness (The Wanted, BIG! The Musical, Rip It Up), Fiona Wade (Emmerdale, Silent Witness), George Rainsford (Call the Midwife, Casualty) and Vera Chok (Hollyoaks, Cobra).

Bluey’s Big Play

Bluey’s Big Play is a brand-new theatrical adaptation of the Emmy award-winning children’s television series, with an original story by Bluey creator Joe Brumm, and new music by Bluey composer, Joff Bush.

Superhero Day

Queen Victoria Square, Friday 31 May, 11am until 4pm

Here’s your chance to mix, mingle and meet with your favourite superheroes as they take Queen Victoria Square by storm. Get a picture taken with Superman and Spiderman, pose with Wonder Woman and Iron Man or take a selfie with Batman.
