Residents, business owners and stakeholders of Stepney of Hull are encouraged to visit Beverley Road Baths from next week to have their say on plans for the area.
The Stepney area of Beverley Road has been earmarked as part of the High Street Accelerator Pilot Programme which launched in March.
The national scheme is aimed at facilitating change and growth in the area, as well as increasing footfall to help to counter challenging economic issues.
Those who live, work and shop in the area have a key role in shaping the future of Stepney and a survey was launched online last week to give the public the opportunity to find out more about plans and to have their say.
Four pop-up sessions have now been arranged at Beverley Road Baths, starting on Monday, for the public to discuss the project in-person with council staff, who are supporting the community-led partnership and will also be able to assist with the survey if required.
The sessions are:
- Monday 3 June 1-3pm
- Thursday 6 June 10am-noon
- Wednesday 12 June 10am-noon
- Thursday 13 June 1-3pm
Further information on the programme can be obtained at hull.gov.uk/Stepney-HSA.
The online survey, which is live until Sunday 16 June, can be found at yoursay.hull.gov.uk/stepney-high-street-accelerator.
Anyone needing help to complete the questionnaire or needs a copy in an alternative format/language can request this by emailing StepneyHighStreetAccelerator@hullcc.gov.uk.
