Rod Stewart Live in Concert
Sewell Group Craven Park, HU9 5HE, 9 July 2023, 12pm
The legendary singer-songwriter heads to Hull for his first concert in the city in seven years. Rod Stewart’s gravelly voice, distinctive interpretations, and endless energy have entertained audiences for decades.
His most famous hits, including “Maggie May” and “Tonight’s the Night,” helped him earn induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.
Vista Festival
Princes Avenue, HU5 3QA, 8 July 2023, From 3pm
Hull’s biggest free street festival is returning to Princes Avenue this July. This year features a range of entertainment, from music to a funfair, street entertainment, art installations and 25 food stalls.
Organized by the Princes Avenue Community and Traders group, Vista Festival is a celebration of the culture of HU5, and a great opportunity to enjoy all that the area has to offer.
Hull KR vs Hull FC
Sewell Group Craven Park Zebedee’s Yard, HU9 5HE, 9 July 2023, 12pm
Hull’s local rugby league derby returns this month, with the return fixture taking place at Hull KR’s home ground. Hull KR comfortably defeated Hull FC 40-0 in April, and the Black and Whites will be looking to get a result against their local rivals.
At the time of writing, Hull FC are in 9th place in the Betfred Super League, while Hull KR are two places above in 7th.
Blood Brothers
Hull New Theatre, HU1 3HF, 18 – 22 July 2023, 2:30pm & 7:30pm
Blood Brothers, the legendary musical by Willy Russell, is coming to Hull New Theatre later this month. This captivating tale of twins who are separated at birth and grow up on opposite sides of the tracks is sure to leave you breathless.
With its powerful score and unforgettable characters, Bill Kenwright’s production has also surpassed 10,000 performances in London’s West End, making it one of only three musicals to ever achieve this milestone.
Pride In Hull
Hull City Centre, 29 July 2023, From 12pm
The Pride in Hull team is excited to announce that the fabulous Pride event and parade will bigger and better than ever, with events happening across the city centre.
The main stage in Zebedee’s Yard will feature headline acts such as Boney M, and there will be plenty of other entertainment to enjoy, including street food, colouring, and crafts, and more.

Medieval Mayhem

Enjoy a weekend of medieval mayhem for all the family, as the Museums Quarter is transformed into a medieval encampment.
Experience life in the Middle Ages, from the thrill of jousting to the skill of archery. You’ll meet knights in armour, archers, medieval residents, craftspeople, and musicians.
