Hull Minster Beer Festival

The annual Hull Minster Beer Festival returns this May, combining one of the city’s most iconic buildings with some of the best beers in the region.
With five sessions over three days, there’s plenty of opportunity to sip, savor and sample all that’s on offer.
VE Day Celebrations
Various locations, Saturday 3 May until Thursday 8 May
This year is the 80th anniversary of VE Day, and there’s various celebration events taking place across Hull to commemorate the occasion.
On Monday 5 May a street party will be set up in East Park, with picnic tables, VE Day themed tableware and flags, as well as themed entertainment.

Hull Independent Cinema presents ‘Queer’, a very special film season which explores the history of LGBTQ+ cinema and shines a light on the beauty and brilliance of queer lives.
Expect German classics, powerful documentaries and nostalgic favourites.
