Hull City Council has issued a statement on the closure of the Hull Paragon Interchange gates at the Anlaby Road entrance.
The statement reveals that representatives of the council met with Hull West and Hessle MP Emma Hardy and Hull North MP Diana Johnson to discuss the issue with senior representatives of TransPennine Express.
It says the local authority and the train operating company will meet with Humberside Police and HullBID for further talks in the coming days.
Here is the statement: “Hull City Council, Emma Hardy MP and Diana Johnson MP have this morning met with senior representatives of TransPennine Express about the closure of the Hull Paragon Interchange gates at the Anlaby Road entrance.
“Following a full and frank discussion covering a number of issues, Hull City Council and TransPennine Express have agreed to meet within 10 days with representatives of Humberside Police and HullBID to put together a series of measures to tackle the anti-social behaviour at the core of concerns.”
