Thousands of people in Hull applauded those working in the NHS last night as part of an emotional national display of support.
The Clap For Our Carers tribute saw people all across the country including the Royal Family, the Prime Minister, David Beckham and even James Bond, Daniel Craig, applaud the incredible work of our national health service.
At 8pm last night, streets across Hull were animated with people stepping outside their front doors and clapping our health workers.
People took to social media to capture the emotional moment and shared through #clapforourcarers.
Here are some of the posts:
Tell you what…. Finishing a late shift, walking back to my car in silence, then hearing this was just….. Amazing. Thanks to all the @HullHospitals and @NHSuk staff for all that we do. We’ll get through this. đź’™ #clapforourcarers pic.twitter.com/VPXIgQcOhp
