This week, it was announced that weekend resurfacing work would take place on Sutton Road as part of the Stoneferry Corridor improvement scheme.
Sutton Road will be closed in both directions between the Holwell Road/Sutton Road roundabout and Ennerdale roundabout, from 8pm on Friday 8 April until 6am on Monday 11 April.
Councillor Dean Kirk, Hull City Council’s portfolio holder for transportation, roads and highways, said: “The Stoneferry Corridor project is currently on course for completion in late spring, after which motorists, businesses and residents in the Stoneferry area will be able to enjoy the full benefits of a much-improved road network.”
