Executive Director Regeneration

Public Health Programme Lead Healthy Places

This is a really exciting opportunity for an experienced Public Health Practitioner to be the public health programme lead for the Healthy Places Programme area in Hull.

This broad programme comprises of health improvement areas including tobacco, physical activity, obesity, food and the wider determinants at place including planning and sustainability. 

Highway Operative

We are looking for candidates who are hardworking, reliable and have either experience within the highways sector or within a labouring capacity.

Job responsibilities will include undertaking various labouring duties including excavation works, laying and levelling of kerbs, slabs and bitumen macadam, drainage and gully installations.

Financial Assessment and Visiting Officer

Salary details: £24702 – £26873

Closing date: 5 February 2024

This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment dealing with all aspects of financial assistance to meet the needs of vulnerable customers across the city. The team is currently in the middle of introducing a new billing module, so it is an exciting time to join the team and make a difference, as processes are being re-worked to streamline the client journey.   

Duties will include completing financial assessments for non-residential and residential services; providing benefit advice to service users, maximise clients benefits, as well as negotiating payment arrangements for debts. 

Grounds Maintenance Chargehand

Salary details: £24702 – £26873

The successful applicant will lead and manage a team of grounds maintenance staff to deliver effective grounds maintenance activities, including the City Centre, parks, open spaces and maintaining a flexible response to meet operational requirements.

They will be directly responsible for productivity delivered by a team of up to eight front line staff and managing performance on a day to day basis, ensuring effective delivery of an environmental grounds maintenance service. Decision making is an integral part of this role.
