Third person caught fly-tipping in Hull’s Alaska Street

A third person has been caught fly-tipping in Alaska Street in Hull.

It comes days after the council issued an appeal for witnesses to two incidents in the same location.

On Wednesday 22 April, a woman was caught dumping a bag of waste on land between Alaska Street and Buckingham Street.

Anyone with information to help identify this person should call 01482 300 300 or email enviro.crime@hullcc.gov.uk and quote reference 386924.

Doug Sharp, assistant manager of Streetscene, said: “Reporting of fly-tipping has reduced significantly but we are still seeing incidences continue across the city and additional waste put out on collection day.

“We have additional resources in place to provide a quick response, but we urge residents to continue to get in touch with us if they do witness any fly-tipping.”
