Albert Ave has gained its 1000th member since reopening in the summer.
New member Andy Lee was presented with a goodie bag and a month’s free membership by council Leader Cllr Mike Ross, upon receiving the accolade.
Cllr Ross said: “1000 members in such a short space of time is a major milestone for this stunning new centre and shows its popularity since reopening the doors.
“The facilities now available here are second to none and exactly what residents deserve. I look forward to seeing the centre continue to thrive and the next milestone reached.”
The £11m transformation has seen a new outdoor lido and splash pad, as well as a fitness gym and class studio.
Cold water swimming sessions have also been launched in the lido for the winter season and are already proving popular.
