This week, it was announced that essential resurfacing work would be carried out on Barham Road, Bilton Grange, from Monday 29 November.
The work, between Nestor Grove and Thanet Road, will be carried out in two phases, on the following dates:
- From Monday 29 November to Sunday 19 December, Barham Road will be closed from No. 251 to No. 271.
- From Monday 10 January to Sunday 30 January, Barham Road will be closed from No. 202 to No. 228.
Councillor Dean Kirk, portfolio holder for highways and transport, said: “Because of the condition of Barham Road, it is vital that we renew the surface to ensure it is safe for traffic.”
