Lord Mayor to hold charity music quiz

The Lord Mayor of Kingston upon Hull is to hold a charity music quiz next month.

Councillor Kalvin Neal extends an invite to all to attend the Guildhall on Tuesday 26 September, starting at 7pm.

Teams of up to 6 people will compete to win a Dine in Style Voucher, kindly donated by Napoleons Casino Hull.

All proceeds will go to the Lord Mayor’s Charity Appeal Fund, which is this year supporting Hull4Heroes and Dove House Hospice.

The Lord Mayor said: “I’m really looking forward to this event, which promises to be a fun night out.

“We’ll get the chance to come together, whilst also raising money for the charities I’m supporting during my year as Lord Mayor.

“We know from when previous Lord Mayors have held similar events that they’ve been really popular, and I hope we get a great turnout again.”

Tickets are £10 per person, and include a supper of pie, chips, peas and gravy.

A vegetarian option is available.

Entries are limited, and tickets are available on a first come, first served basis.

To obtain an entry form, please contact the Civic Office on 01482 615 093, or email civic.office@hullcc.gov.uk.
