Preparations are underway for the Lord Mayor’s Charity Ball, with a chance to take advantage of early bird ticket prices.
Admission and a 3-course meal is available for £35 for the event at the magnificent Guildhall in Hull on Friday 9 May.
The Bridgerton-theme night will start at 7pm, with attendees asked to dress in their finest attire.
All proceeds will go to the Lord Mayor’s Charity Appeal Fund, which is this year benefitting Hull and East Yorkshire Children’s University and Cruse Bereavement Support.
The Lord Mayor, Councillor Mark Collinson, said: “This popular event is always one of the highlights of the civic year and an important one for my chosen charities.
“The Lady Mayoress has been working hard on preparations to make it an even more spectacular success than usual – and I have been helping her by keeping out of the way!”
Tickets can be booked through the Civic Office, via civic.office@hullcc.gov.uk
