Local fashion designers will be showing off their skills in a pop-up sale in Hull city centre this weekend.
The ‘Summer Fashion Designers sale’ will take place this Saturday (21 June) on the ground floor of Princes Quay.
Alongside pop-up stalls with fashion designers displaying and selling their products, the event will also include live music with DJ sets, interactive games and a 360-video booth.
The sale, organised by Hull-based designer ‘HOUSEOFTUYI’, has been sponsored by the council with hopes of building into a Hull Fashion week for 2026.
Cllr Rob Pritchard, portfolio holder for culture and leisure, said: “There’s incredible talent in our city and it was a huge privilege to take Seguntuyi and other designers to business week recently.
“We’re now working in partnership with Seguntuyi to develop a plan for Hull Fashion Week, starting with this pop-up event in June. Very exciting.”
Seguntuyi said: “This is more than a sales event, it’s about building a community of designers and giving fashion a new home in Hull.”
The event will take place 11am – 4pm and free tickets can be booked here to guarantee entry.
