Hull businesses thanked by the Lord Mayor for supporting care leavers

Hull businesses which provide support to care-leavers have been recognised for their work by the Lord Mayor.

Firms which offered opportunities for young people as to improve their vocational and educational profile, as well as opening up future employment prospects, were presented with a certificate and pin badge and welcomed into the Lord Mayor’s parlour.

Trident, NPS and Keepmoat were among seven organisations thanked by the Lord Mayor for their commitment to Hull City Council’s Care Leavers programme.

Lord Mayor, Councillor Steve Wilson, said: “The Care Leavers programme is incredibly important to the council and I was only too happy to welcome them into the parlour and thank them.”
