The Lord Mayor and Admiral of the Humber will attend the annual Sea, Field and Factory Service at Hull Minster later this month.
Councillor Kalvin Neal encourages residents to join him at the Minster on Sunday 24 September, where the service begins at 2pm.
All are welcome, with anyone attending asked to be seated in the Minster by no later than 1:45pm.
The service will be preceded by a civic procession, led by the Humberside Police Band.
It will leave The Guildhall, from Hanover Square, at approximately 1:40pm.
The procession will return to The Guildhall after the service, at approximately 3pm, via Whitefriargate.
The Lord Mayor said: “It’s wonderful that we can once again bring together the communities of the city at the Minster.
“It’s such an honour to lead this event, where religious celebrations take place, as we bring in the autumn.
“Harvest times have been celebrated dating back to ancient Britain, and it’s important that the tradition is kept alive.”
