Families will be able to enjoy all of Hull’s waterplay facilities this school summer holidays, with both East Park splash pad and Pickering Park paddling pool to reopen this month.
Both have undergone extensive refurbishment to ensure their long-term viability and provide additional free, safe and accessible waterplay facilities for all in Hull.

Pickering Park paddling pool will be open from Saturday 18 July in line with other paddling pools across the city and will also remain open until Sunday 6 September.
Cllr Charles Quinn, portfolio holder for parks at Hull City Council, said: “The council is fully aware that our parks and their waterplay facilities are at the heart of our communities, particularly in the summer months.
“Therefore, we are delighted to share that all of the city’s waterplay facilities will be open in time for the summer holidays, providing further free, safe and exciting activities – a really fun, family day out.
“We would like to thank everyone for their patience whilst East Park splash pad and Pickering Park paddling pool underwent refurbishment and we are sure they will be enjoyed by everyone for many years to come.”
