Assistant Streetcare Operative

Salary details: £22737 – £23500

The successful applicant will work in teams which are area-based, to perform grounds maintenance tasks to improve the environmental standards of the city which meets the aspirations of its communities.

Experience of working in an environmental field and fully competent in using a full range of hand tools and powered equipment to include strimmer’s, hedge cutters and blowers is essential.

Kingston Care Controller

This post is fixed term for approximately 6 months to cover for maternity leave

To operate the central control alarm system taking calls on a rotation 24-hour shift basis to ensure that an efficient and professional response to the needs of users of the Lifeline and sheltered housing call system is maintained to enable them to maximise their independence in the community and remain in their own homes. To assist and support the service in the promotion, development, monitoring  and installation of assistive technology products

You must hold IT skills to RSA Stage 1 level or equivalent, an appropriate NVQ2 qualification and be literate and numerate as essential requirements of the role.

Early Help Health and Wellebing Coordinator (Fixed Term)

Salary details: £23500 – £24294

Fixed Term until 31 March 2025 – due to external funding. 

Based in 79 Lowgate, the Health & Wellbeing Team are seeking to appoint a coordinator to provide business support across all service areas within the team. 

The successful applicant will be required to provide and coordinate an effective, efficient, and responsive business support service in accordance with the needs of the various projects, proactively working to support the Healthy Lifestyles Team, Hull Thrive, and the Holiday Activity & Food programme delivery team. 

Wellbeing Officer

This role sits within the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team within the Organisation Development (OD) & Human Resources (HR) team where you will work collaboratively with OD & HR, Health and Safety Officers and Occupational Health Nurses who will provide you with the required professional support to lead in the implementation of the council’s Employee Health, Safety and Wellbeing Strategy.

Targeted Youth Support Worker

Hull City Council’s Targeted Youth Support Service is a multi-disciplinary service which provides young people with comprehensive housing advice and support designed to prevent homelessness and rough sleeping. The service supports young people in maintaining their accommodation and or finding realistic and sustainable housing solutions which meet their needs from a range of options.

We are looking to recruit a full-time Targeted Youth Support Worker which will be based in the Housing Access and Assessment Team within the Targeted Youth Support Accommodation Hub. The successful applicant will be responsible for the discharging of statutory Housing Duties owed to young people under both Housing and Childrens Legislation both of which are delivered through our universal duty service.

We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled, tenacious and dedicated Senior Care Officer to form part of the leadership team at Connect Family Support Team based within Elgar Hub. The purpose of the team is to provide support to families to help children stay safely at home wherever possible.

The Team aims to support families by providing the right help at the right time, which could involve short breaks, positive activities, parenting advice, behaviour support.

Youth Justice Practitioner

Salary details: £30296 – £33024

Could you work with children who are involved in crime, or are on the edge of criminality and prevent further offending? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to join our dedicated team of practitioners.

You will be a Lead Practitioner for a caseload of vulnerable children, young people, and their families with a range of needs who may be at risk of exploitation. You will undertake assessments and coordinate a response to the risks and needs of the child and or family in partnership with other agencies.
