Plans for a boutique hotel inside The Warren Youth Project building in Hull city centre have been granted conditional approval.
The proposals would see the first and second floors converted into five hotel apartments at the former fire station in Queens Dock Avenue.
The plans are for three one-bedroom and two two-bedroom apartments, each with a lounge and kitchen.
The Warren is a charity that provides support services for vulnerable young people in the city.
Hull City Council’s planning committee approved the plans on the condition that more details are submitted on concerns over issues including soundproofing and ventilation.
The building is in Hull’s Old Town Conservation area.
