An eco-friendly shop in Hull could become the city’s first zero-waste store.
Eco Shed in Trinity Market, which specialises in natural, organic, vegan and eco-friendly products, could eliminate the need for plastic packaging in a move that would bring prices down, says owner Kallum Nicholson.
Kallum has started a crowdfunding page to help him reach his goal.
He said: “After an amazing first year, we want to expand into a zero-waste shop, which is modern version of a scoop-and-save. It will be called The Pantry as it will offer everything you will have in your cupboards.

“The concept is that you bring your own jars and containers and fill them up. This is how we allow for no waste as there is no packaging on the stock.
“This also makes the items cheaper as you’re only paying for the product and not the packaging.”
