Overnight roadworks will take place in Wawne Road tomorrow.
The road near the Home Bargains roundabout will be closed from 7pm on Friday 5 March until 6am on Saturday 6 March for resurfacing and the installation of a speed bump.
The traffic calming measure will be placed in a north bound direction from the roundabout towards the Kingswood Academy.
A diversion route will be in place via Bude Road and Kesteven Way for the duration of the works.
The blue and green arrows show the advised diversion route for the duration of these works.
Councillor Anita Harrison, portfolio holder for highways at Hull City Council, said:
“We are carrying out these essential improvement works overnight so that we can minimise disruption to motorists, however this work is necessary, and we apologise for any delays.
“We ask that motorists are patient while we carry out these essential repairs.”
