Annual quiz night back at Hull Guildhall

A quiz night to benefit the Lord Mayor of Kingston upon Hull’s chosen charities is to be staged for the 31st time.

Teams will compete for the Trevor Stark Memorial Trophy at the Guildhall on Tuesday 4 March, starting at 7:30pm.

The always-popular event has limited availability, so entries are on a first come first served basis.

Tickets are £15 per person, which includes a meal of pie, chips and peas, with a vegetarian option available.

The Lord Mayor, Councillor Mark Collinson, said: “I don’t rate my own chances, as I’m pretty bad at quizzes, and I have a terrible memory for names!

“However, I am looking forward to what should be a great night – particularly as the Guildhall pies are very good!”

The quiz master for the event will be Paul Towse, and teams will be comprised of a maximum of 6 contestants.

All proceeds will go to the Lord Mayor’s Charity Appeal Fund, which is this year benefitting the Hull and East Yorkshire Children’s University and Cruse Bereavement Support.

Tickets must be pre-booked via the Civic Office on 01482 615 093 or email civic.office@hullcc.gov.uk.
