New film celebrates the Beverley Road Townscape Heritage Scheme

As the Beverley Road Townscape Heritage Scheme draws to a close, our latest film by local filmmakers NOVA Studios looks back on the historic properties restored since 2015 and celebrates the rich heritage of the Beverley Road Conservation Area.

The film has been created by Lydia Shearsmith at NOVA Studios, who was also a participant in Hull Maritime’s Creative Digital Skills Programme.

This is the final film in a series of four created by NOVA Studios over the past year. Previous films have explored Community, Beverley Road in the Blitz, and Entertainment and Culture. They have been created in collaboration with current and former residents of Beverley Road, and can be viewed on the Council’s YouTube channel.

The Beverley Road Townscape Heritage Scheme is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, thanks to National Lottery players, and Hull City Council.
