Iron Lilies opens following grant from Hull City Council

A spectacular new restaurant and bar has opening in the iconic Princes Quay, in Hull. Iron Lilies is one of a number of recent ventures to open in Hull following significant support from Hull City Council.

It occupies the former Virgin Megastore on Level 2 of Princes Quay Shopping Centre, which has stood vacant for a decade.

The 200-seat restaurant features a botanical theme, with water features and plants providing a greenhouse-like feel. The £750,000 grant is part of a £19.5m funding boost that Hull City Council secured from government as part of the Levelling Up Partnerships.

The circa £2 million Iron Lilies project is the brainchild of Tokyo Industries (Yorkshire) Ltd, which also owns the Princes Quay shopping centre.
