An inclusive celebration for young people with special educational needs and disabilities will take place this Friday in aid of Children in Need, with special recognition for one of the designers of this year’s official T-shirt.
Tristan Sole, 14, from Hull, had his design chosen out of many applicants to represent the ‘England’ Pudsey, on a T-shirt highlighting the four nations, supported by Hull City Council’s Leisure and Family Support Service (LAFSS).
Tristan will be joined by the Lord Mayor, Councillor Lynn Petrini, at the evening to recognise his achievement.
The Lord Mayor said: “I’m delighted to be attending this event and looking forward to congratulating Tristan on this fantastic achievement and opportunity to have his design seen and worn by people right across the country!”
The event has been organised by LAFSS in conjunction with Bransholme Community Arts Enterprise (BCAE). Young people aged between 13 – 25 will be able to enjoy this fantastic night at the LAFFS base, Bellfield House.
