The council has today published a decision record that authorises condition works to take place at the Avenues Centre. The works will allow the relocation of the Hull Training and Adult Education team from the Endeavour site on Beverley Road, ahead of its refurbishment for the Trinity House move.
Councillor Shane McMurray, portfolio holder for learning, skills and safeguarding children said:
“I support this work and relocation that will in turn will accommodate the relocation of Hull Trinity House into Endeavour. This move will provide capacity for an additional 600 pupils, which forms part of the council’s school sufficiency requirements.”
The works will be undertaken through Hull Esteem Consortium LEP Ltd and will begin imminently.
It is expected the work will be completed by December when the team will move in, until late 2022/early 2023, when further works will be undertaken to facilitate the future use of the centre.
