Essential overnight resurfacing works on Stoneferry Road and Ferry Lane will continue into next week, owing to unforeseen circumstances.
This phase of the work, part of the multi-million-pound Stoneferry improvement scheme, will now end at 6am on Tuesday 9 November.
The carriageway will be closed overnight on Ferry Lane from the River Hull bridge (eastbound) to Stoneferry Road/Ferry Lane roundabout, and on Stoneferry Road (northbound) from Stoneferry Road/Ferry Lane roundabout to Bandstand roundabout. Read our previous story here.
Subsequent resurfacing works may consequently be delayed.
The next phase of overnight resurfacing on Stoneferry Road, from Ferry Lane roundabout to Chamberlain Road roundabout, will now begin at 7pm on Tuesday 9 November. Read our previous story here.
Councillor Dean Kirk, portfolio holder for transportation, roads and highways, said: “While any delays are regrettable, unfortunately they are sometimes unavoidable.
“We endeavour to complete these works as quickly and efficiently as possible and apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
