More than 3000 children will take up their places at one of the city’s 71 primary schools this September.
Today, primary school place allocations were today sent out to Hull parents for children starting school in September.
This year just over 98 percent of children received one of their preferred primary schools, which is an increase from last year which saw 97 percent receive one of their preferred schools.
Over 94 percent of children received their first preference of primary school, again an increase on last year, which was 93 percent.
