Trinity Market will be open from 9am to 3pm from Monday to Friday from next week following the Government’s latest changes to coronavirus measures.
Trinity Market has remained partially open during the measures to support businesses still able to operate in accordance with Government and Public Health guidance.
From next week, more traders will choose to operate from the market, offering takeaway or delivery services.
From Monday May 18th we will be open 5 days a week. 9 to 3.

Extra measures will in effect to protect traders, staff and visitors, which will include clear social distancing signage as well as a one-way system in place.
Visitors will be required to enter the market from Trinity House Lane and exit from North Church Side.
Other safety measures include the closing of the market’s public toilets, no social gathering and the installation of signage to remind people to practice social distancing.
Trinity Market staff will be onsite to ensure that these measures are respected.
Lucy Lines, Trinity Market manager, said: “These are undoubtedly difficult and challenging times but it was important to us that, for those traders that are allowed to operate and want to operate, we could assure them that measures would be in place to keep them and their customers safe.
“Over the coming weeks and months, and in accordance with changes to government guidance, we will constantly monitor the market to ensure that it is ran in a safe and responsible way.”
Traders that will be operating from next week included Duffield Butchers, Chak and Sue’s Fruit and Veg, Falafia, Tart Me Up and Cocoa Chocolatier.
All traders will choose their own operating times depending on how they wish to operate their businesses during current times, so opening times for individual traders may vary.
