An online form allowing businesses in Hull to apply for grant funding is now live.
The facility will allow Hull City Council to distribute £58m in funding to firms across the city suffering during the coronavirus outbreak.
The form is now live on the council’s website here.
It is expected more than 4,000 businesses in Hull will be eligible for the relief fund, which the local authority is distributing on behalf of the Government.
But firms were again urged to make sure they enter the correct information to ensure grants can be paid into bank accounts quickly.
David Bell, Hull City Council’s director of finance, said: “The form is now live and businesses are encouraged to go online and fill it in, but they must remember to fill it in accurately so payments can be progressed quickly.
“We are asking for basic info about businesses because we need to make sure the right businesses receive the grants. We have put an email address alongside the form for those who cannot access the required information.”
Full details about the Covid-19 Grant Funding Schemes can be found on the council’s website.
