Young people, parents and carers in Hull who are looking for extra support or advice are being urged to visit a new website.
How Are You Feeling? has been developed with the help of young people who were asked what support they felt they needed, alongside parents and professionals to provide information, advice and support on self-care and services in Hull and nationally.
HeadStart Hull, a National Lottery Community Fund project designed to build emotional health and resilience in young people, helped with the development in co-production with the HeadStarter Young Volunteers as part of their young people led approach.

It features sections for young people, parents and carers, training and support for professionals and information about HeadStart Hull campaigns.
HeadStart Hull programme manager Gail Teasdale said, “Young people in Hull wanted a trusted source of information where they could access the guidance and support they needed.
“Working with these young people, we co-produced the site to carry the services and information they identified as the most important.
“The result was a website that not only allows access to our support services, but offers a wealth of helpful tips, advice and links to external services to help improve emotional health, all tested and approved by young people.
“In consultation with parents and professionals we also added sections where they could also access support and information.”
The site also has a coronavirus section featuring advice and resources on staying physically and mentally well during the outbreak.
Keeping fully informed by trusted sources can help reduce worry, anxiety and stress.
