We are starting this weekend’s events a day early with tonight’s terrific Trinity Live in the Old Town, which will again feature the city’s finest talent plus selected acts from across the country.
Keep it musical with a free folk concert at the Hull Minster or enjoy an art attack at a couple of the city’s fine galleries. And do it all without picking a penny from your pocket.

1. Trinity Live

It’s the return of this hugely successful weekly live music event, which last year brought thousands of extra people into the market on Thursday evenings. The event gives a platform to many of the city’s bands and performers.

The event is curated by Sesh Events and funded by Hull City Council. This week’s outing will showcase many of the bands who will be playing at the Humber Street Sesh this year alongside amazing local artists. Learn more here.
2. Maritime at the Minster

A folk concert to promote this year’s Hull Folk and Maritime Festival, which takes place from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 June. Folk in Hull presents Spare Hands, Ellie Pollard, Fiddler’s Elbow, The Smugglers and Hull Folk Collective.

3. 2020 Open – Artist Crit Session

Join both established and emerging artists for an open discussion about their practice. These sessions offer space for friendly peer support and collaborative knowledge exchange, giving artists a platform to discuss, critique and question.
The 2020 Open Crit is open to any and all artists from all backgrounds and practices. Free, though booking is essential here.
4. Drop-In-Tours: Women In Focus

5. Suffering Arcadia – Remote
