Essential resurfacing works will take place in Ellerburn Avenue from Monday 27 January to Monday 24 February.
The road will be closed in both directions and a signed diversion will be in place via York Road and Orchard Park Road. Buses will also be diverted via York Road.
Councillor Anita Harrison, portfolio holder for highways and Hull City Council, said: “To allow the road to be resurfaced safely, a temporary closure will be in place.
“We apologise in advance and ask that motorists are patient while we carry out these essential repairs.”
Access will be maintained for residents, pedestrians and emergency vehicles.
