Hull City Council is appealing for witnesses after a woman was caught disposing of a chair in Marmaduke Street. The incident was captured on CCTV on Friday 29 November.
Anyone with information to help identify her should call 01482 300 300, quoting reference 379590.
On Friday 22 November, a man was caught fly-tipping in Suffolk Street. Anyone who can identify him should call the council, quoting reference 378969.
A second man was also captured disposing of his waste in Suffolk Street on Wednesday 30 October. Anyone who can identify him should call the council, quoting reference 377628.
Councillor Anita Harrison, portfolio holder for waste management at Hull City Council said: “By taking a tough stance on enforcement, we can deter any potential offenders. We encourage members of the public not to shrink from reporting any perpetrators they see.
“We will prosecute and, when a conviction is secured, we will name and shame in the hope that we can stamp out this anti-social behaviour.”
Since the launch of Hull City Council’s Caught on Camera webpage, the public have helped in identifying five cases. Those offenders have been landed with £400 fines.
Councillor Harrison said: “I would like to thank the public for their help into securing these successful prosecutions, their input in invaluable.
“However we still have a number of people wanted for these criminal offences and we urge you to visit our website to see if you can identify anyone.”
